"The Hobbit" director Peter Jackson is continuing to be chatty on Facebook about his film, revealing a special Comic-Con poster Saturday.
"Hi everyone. Here's an exclusive Comic Con
poster. Be sure to get your copy in San Diego and let me know what you
think of it! Cheers, Peter J," he posted.
The poster depicted the wizard Gandalf (Ian McKellen) traveling down a path which appears to be near the Shire, home of the Hobbits.
McKellen starred as Gandalf in all three of Jackson's "Lord of the Rings" films.
On Friday, the director, announced via Facebook that principal photography had wrapped on his two-part adaptation of "The Hobbit."
"The Hobbit" will be presented at two films. The first, titled “The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey,” will be released on Dec. 14. The second, titled “The Hobbit: There and Back Again,” is slated for release the following year, on Dec. 13, 2013.
